911- A Tribute to my friend Laura Kennedy
I remember 911 oh to well. I was at work. I worked at a vocational program for mentally disabled adults. We had caught wind about the plane hitting one of the twin towers and tuned our television in to monitor what was happening.

A Plea for Mandy and Poodle | Please read and vote!
The other day I was fortunate and honored to be asked by a friend to help setup a fan page on Facebook for a remarkable young lady named Mandy. Mandy is 8 years old and was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1) on Oct. 23, 2001, her first birthday. She was diagnosed with a bilateral Optic Gliomas on Feb. 18, 2008. This malignant diagnosis prompted her starting chemotherapy.
