911- A Tribute to my friend Laura Kennedy
I remember 911 oh to well. I was at work. I worked at a vocational program for mentally disabled adults. We had caught wind about the plane hitting one of the twin towers and tuned our television in to monitor what was happening.

Thank You for supporting Poodle and Mandy’s quest!
I would like to thank everyone who voted for Poodle (Electra) in the Cutest Dog Competition. Your love and support in trying to make Mandy’s wish come true brought lots of smiles and excitement to Mandy’s life.
Although we do not know the final totals yet and who actually won the competition we believe that Poodle may have come in second which is amazing in its self and we could not have gotten there without everyone’s help.

The other day I was fortunate and honored to be asked by a friend to help setup a fan page on Facebook for a remarkable young lady named Mandy. Mandy is 8 years old and was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1) on Oct. 23, 2001, her first birthday. She was diagnosed with a bilateral Optic Gliomas on Feb. 18, 2008. This malignant diagnosis prompted her starting chemotherapy.
