Just call me “The Chipmunk Warrior” LOL
Well today is Monday and its actually turning out to be a nice day here in MA as the sun is finally shining after a few days of rain. This morning I woke as I normally do to my daughter Sophia peaking underneath her door and yelling “Momma I’m Up” and the dogs barking as they want to be fed.
After feeding the dogs I headed outside with them for their morning romp and low and behold there were 2 little chipmunks swimming and fighting for their lives to get out of the pool. It wasn’t looking promising for the little guys unless I assisted and rescued them. So, I ran to see if the key was in its hiding spot which it wasn’t and I didn’t want to run upstairs as time was a wasting so I decided that the only thing left to do was to hop the fence. 911- A Tribute to my friend Laura Kennedy
I remember 911 oh to well. I was at work. I worked at a vocational program for mentally disabled adults. We had caught wind about the plane hitting one of the twin towers and tuned our television in to monitor what was happening.
What we were about to see was beyond what I could have ever imagined. People running frantically in the streets of NYC. The streets were filled with smoke and debris.
